What is the Streamlined Filing Procedure?

Do you qualify for the Streamlined Filing Procedure?
In order to be eligible, you need to certify that the failure to file and/or pay your taxes was due to non-willful conduct. Non-willful conduct means due to negligence, inadvertence, by mistake or as a result of a good faith misunderstanding of the law.
ARE THERE ANY PENALTIES IF I STREAMLINE?
As long as you qualify for the program, and have not been found guilty of any misconduct you should not be subject to any late filing or late payment penalties however interest will still be calculated on any amounts due.
